The best theme parks to visit in the U.S.
Now that it is vacation time and we can travel under the relevant sanitary restrictions … It was time to think about our fun. Today we propose and tell you a little about the best amusement parks that you can visit on your trip to the United States for your enjoyment and that of your companions.
1. Magic Kingdom
Disney World’s Magic Kingdom covers more than 110 square kilometers and opened on October 1, 1971. It is known as “The most magical place on earth” and is home to six themed zones and one dozen attractions that delight young and old.
Magic Kingdom appears as a large wheel, with the axis centered directly in front of the imposing Cinderella Castle. Cinderella’s Castle is the icon of the parks and has also become an icon of the company as a whole. In the summer of 2020, Cinderella’s Castle debuted a new color scheme, with mixed reviews from guests.
2. Islands of adventure
Islands of Adventure theme park opened as Universal Orlando’s second gate on May 28, 1999, joining Universal Studios Florida next door. Welcoming more than 10 million visitors each year, it is one of the 10 most visited theme parks in the entire United States.
One of the park’s great attractions is the original, Wizarding World from Harry Potter – Hogsmeade, which opened in 2010. Islands of Adventure also includes Doctor Seuss, Jurassic Park, King Kong, and Marvel Comics themed areas.
3. Animal’s Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a zoological amusement park at the Wall Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom sets itself apart from the rest of the Disney World theme parks in that it includes traditional attractions while displaying hundreds of species of live animals. Due to its more sensitive conditions, special designs and provisions were incorporated throughout the park to protect the welfare of the animals. The park is located on the western edge of the resort, it is also isolated from the rest of the theme parks and other properties to minimize any stimulus or annoyance to the life of the animals. Due to these conditions, the nightly shows in this park do not include fireworks that would otherwise disturb the animals.
4. Universal Studios Hollywood
Universal Studios Hollywood is a theme park and movie studio all in one, located in Los Angeles, California. Universal Studios is a popular vacation spot and families are always eager to go so they can take their kids on vacation or just have a good time. Kids of all ages love it and there is something for every age group. It’s become so popular that Universal Studios theme parks exist in countries like Japan, Singapore, and Korea, among others.
Dollywood is a theme park jointly owned by entertainer Dolly Parton and Herschend Family Entertainment. It is located in the Knoxville-Smoky Mountains metroplex in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Hosting nearly 3 million guests in a typical season.
In addition to the standard amusement park thrill rides, Dollywood features traditional crafts and music from the Smoky Mountain area. The park hosts a number of concerts and musical events each year, including appearances by Dolly Parton and her family, as well as other national and local musical acts. It is also the site of the Southern Gospel Museum and the Hall of Fame.
